Crossroads Writing Project at Ferris State University

Informal Events
CWP Teacher-Consultants may seek several options for continuing what they started once they complete their participation in the Invitational Summer Institute. They may decide to meet periodically to write and share writing or just talk as they develop lifelong professional and personal friendships. Sometimes they meet to plan sessions they will lead locally or at state or national conferences. Sometimes they meet to develop a grant proposal for a project they want to carry out.

CWP Writing Retreats Three times a year in November February and April, CWP teachers and interested others meet for a weekend writing retreat at various locations. Participants meet to write, share writing, and break bread together over poetry, novels-in-process, and commentary. For the last several years, the retreat in April has taken place at Khardomah Lodge in Grand Haven, Michigan (an old-fashioned Victorian inn). Contact Jenny Orton, Writing Retreat Coordinator, for more information (mslaqueen(at)yahoo.com ).
